CUDOS in running for Phoebe Rees awards

THE Crewkerne United Dramatic and Operatic Society enters its shows in various competitions run by the Somerset Fellowship of Drama.
The group is delighted to announce that it has received six nominations for the play, Cheshire Cats, which it staged in May, in the Phoebe Rees competition.
The nominations are as follows: Stage management, Kerry Peters; sound, Dave Brolly; actress in a leading role, Sarah Elliott; cameo (male), Ian Scott; cameo (female), Heidi Scott and Lucy Perry.
CUDOS secretary Wendy Elliott said: “We have to wait until the awards evening at the end of October to see if we have been successful.”
