Choir's CD helps good cause

THE Ilminster-based Serenade Community Choir has presented a cheque for £123 to the Yeovil Freewheelers Blood Bike team.
The choir, which practises each week at Mucheleny House in Ilminster, is raising money through the sale of its new CD, available from the Minster Pharmacy in the town.
The next fundraising event is a concert at the Millennium Hall in Seavington on Saturday, October 27, from 7.30pm. Tickets priced £5 are available from 01460-241601.
