ATC inspect HMS Turbulent

CADETS and staff from the town’s Air Training Corps have toured a Royal Navy submarine at Devonport Naval Dockyard in Plymouth.
Members of the crew of HMS Turbulent showed the cadets from 2381 Ilminster Squadron around the Trafalgar class vessel, retired recently after nearly 30 years’ of service.
Flight Lieutenant Steve Penny, Officer Commanding 2381 Ilminster Squadron, said: “The cadets|were privileged to be provided|an opportunity to tour HMS Turbulent.
“They were able to learn first hand about it capabilities and get an insight into what it would be like to work as part of a close-knit team on a modern submarine.”
