Oven fire in Bridgwater

AN oven fire prompted a call out from Bridgwater fire crews last night.
They went to Friarn Avenue at 10.20pm after reports that alarms were sounding at a property.
A fire spokesman said: “A fire appliance from Bridgwater attended and crews found smoke within the building.
“There was a small fire in an oven which crews extinguished using a fire blanket. Smoke was then cleared from the building using a fan.”
