BURNHAM MP Tessa Munt discussed ‘bully-boy’ tactics of British banks at a national conference.
The MP addressed a crowd of over 500 and showed support for the ‘Bully-Banks’ campaign group, set up in response to bank mis-selling of Interest Rate Swap Agreements (IRSAs).
Tessa said: “People have been treated appallingly, and I have heard local businesspeople tell of being brought to their knees by unfair and heavy-handed treatment by our leading banks.”
Business Secretary Vince Cable asked Tessa to attend before reporting what she has learned.
