Wedmore divided over 22 homes plan

AN application for 22 homes on green fields has split villagers in Wedmore – with 43 people writing letters in support and another 70 objecting.
Many of the supporters say the development, at Cheddar Road, Wedmore, will provide desperately needed affordable housing – while some of the objectors say the eight affordable homes proposed are not enough.
The scheme is recommended for approval at next Tuesday’s Sedgemoor District Council development control committee meeting.
