MORE than £3,660 has been raised for the brave rescue teams who searched in vain for Dylan Cecil.

The money was raised at a fun day in Burnham on Saturday, in memory of four-year-old Dylan, who was swept out to sea after falling from the town’s jetty in August.

The all-day event at The Dunstan House Inn featured entertainment for children and adults.

The live music on offer included local groups Ping and I, So Watt, Kastrow, The Ovation Brothers, Snatch and Co, Vermin, The Ginger Hitlas and Riverbrew.

It was organised by Dusica Roberts, who thanked everybody who supported the event, and Dunstan House for providing the facilities.
