Hawkchurch thanks for coffee morning success

ORGANISERS have thanked everyone who supported a Macmillan Cancer Support coffee morning.
The event was among dozens held as part of Macmillan’s national coffee morning.
The Hawkchurch event raised more than £800 and organiser Maggie Stead thanked Fairwaterhead Hotel, Millar’s Farm Market, Reflections Hairdressers, Wyld Meadow Farm and the Old Inn for giving raffle prizes.
Maggie added: “Thanks also to the private donations of gifts and money, and to all who came on the day. I’d also like to thank my family and friends for all their help in raising more than £800 – a tremendous effort for a very worthy cause.”
