Chard Project Zimbabwe gains cash boost

CHARD Project Zimbabwe has received £373.20 thanks to members of Axminster Catenians.

The project supports the educational needs of disadvantaged children in Zimbabwe.

CPZ co-ordinator Stephen Zenda said: “The funds will go a long way towards supporting some of the poor children in Zimbabwe who are victims of years of political and economic instability. I would like to thank my fellow Axminster Catenians for the continued support of CPZ and look forward to extending my appeals to other circles in the near future.”

Catenians are Catholic men who meet for social activities, often with their families. They are part of an international organisation with more than 10,500 members.

Members of Axminster Catenians are drawn from East Devon, West Dorset and South Somerset. For more information about the group contact Stephen on 01460-66793.
