Apprenticeship scheme reaches 200 mark

ALMOST 200 apprenticeships have been swept up by young people in Somerset since an employment campaign was launched last month.
The Growing Somerset Talent scheme means firms which employ under 1,000 staff, and have not had an apprentice in the last 12 months, are entitled to a grant of £1,500 for every apprentice they take on.
