Wildlife lovers celebrate release of cranes onto Somerset Levels

WILDLIFE lovers welcomed the successful release of 19 cranes onto the Somerset Levels and Moors.
The birds were released by the Great Crane Project, a partnership of wildlife organisations funded by Viridor Credits Environmental Company.
The project aims to restore the wild crane population throughout the UK.
