Join the Cancer Information and Support Club in Chard

FOR people going through a difficult time suffering from cancer finding others who are going through the same situation can be a great relief.

It means having people to talk to who understand without pitying looks or even ignoring the subject altogether.

This is the same for people who are the loved ones, family or carers of cancer sufferers.

A new group called Cancis – Cancer Information and Support Club – in Chard is perfect for anyone wanting an informal, understanding and friendly morning of chat with people in the same situation.

The group meets on Thursdays at St Gildas in Chard between 10am and 12.30pm. Anyone is welcome, no appointment is necessary and there are no costs – just walk in, say ‘hello’ and be assured of a warm welcome and a cuppa.

Along with a chat and a chance to meet other people, the group will offer complimentary therapies, healing, Tai Chi and talks. For more information contact Kathy on 01460-239256 or 07855-810292.
