Carnival: Still time to enter Ilminster Children's Carnival
12:02pm Wednesday 26th September 2012 in News
THERE is still time to enter Ilminster Children’s Carnival – which is on Saturday.
Organisers have extended the deadline for entries until tomorrow (Thursday) when people can submit their application forms to Gemma Champion, of Ilminster Carnival, during working hours at the Boots store in town.
Entrants have to be at Ile Youth Club in Frog Lane before 1pm when the judging will take place. The procession sets off at 1.45pm.
The route has been changed this year with the parade going from Ile Youth Club along East Street, Silver Street, Strawberry Bank, down North Street and then back up East Street, before finishing back at the youth club.
Results will be announced at the end of the parade and hot and cold drinks will be available at the club in aid of Ilminster Carnival Committee.
An entry form is included in today's News - go and buy your copy now!
