Sooty steps out on Brean charity walk

A CROWD of people donned walking gear and marched into Brean to raise cash for charity.
Almost 50 walkers teamed up to help raise thousands of pounds for the Alzheimer’s Society by doing a sponsored Memory Walk.
The walk, from Brean Leisure Park to Brean Down and back, saw some people in fancy dress, along with children’s television star Sooty.
Organisers said the event, which has been running for eight years, was a huge success this year and thanked everyone for taking part.
