YOU may not have known much about the game of handball before the London Olympics, but there’s actually a full-size court on your doorstep.
The Princess Royal Sports Centre at Wellington School is the home of the only court of its kind in the South-West – and GB men’s handball captain Ciaran Williams was in town last week to inspire a generation and get kids into this increasingly popular sport.
He is pictured above with pupils and head teacher Adam Gibson.
Rebecca Langdon, from the school, said: “Ciaran offered advice to help pupils pursue their own Olympic dreams.”
