Tapestry workshops in Isle Brewers

A TAPESTRY workshop to get people in stitches about stitching and raise money for charity starts next week.

Jolly Red are running the classes from Isle Brewers, near Fivehead, and will hold their tapestry beginners’ boot camps in support of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Kelly Fletcher, who runs the sessions, said: “Crafts are currently a thriving and exciting world to be part of with lots of interest, whether it’s knitting, crochet or tapestry.

“Typically, people don’t only do one craft – they like to try other things as well, and this is the perfect start.”

The workshops are on Friday, September 28 and Saturday, September 29, and run from 10am to 11.30am, 12.30pm to 2pm and 3pm to 4.30pm with eight places available per class.

Last year’s classes raised over £400 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
