South Petherton Poetry Please deadline approaching

THE closing date for entries in this year’s Petherton Poetry Please contest is approaching.
Petherton Arts Trust is holding another competition this year after the David Hall Arts Centre took part in last year’s National Poetry Week.
It is open to everyone and will be judged in three age groups – seven years and under; eight to 14 years; and adults.
Full details and entry forms are available from South Petherton Library, shops in the village and on-line at thedavidhall.org.uk or by phoning 01460-240340.
The closing date for entries is Thursday, September 20, at 11pm. Winners will be notified by Thursday, September 27, and there will be a|Live Poetry Evening at the David Hall Arts Centre on Saturday, October 6, at 8pm.
