A BERROW runner took on a famous half-marathon ‘to put a smile on children’s faces’.
Simon Prior ran the Bupa Great North Run in Newcastle yesterday (September 16) for the Starlight Children’s Foundation – which grants once-in-a-lifetime wishes for seriously and terminally ill children.
He said: “The work that Starlight does to bring smiles to poorly children and to help them forget their illnesses is wonderful and I am really thrilled to be supporting it.”
