Fireworks finale to festive event in Dulverton
A STUNNING firework display will be the culmination of this year’s Dulverton by Starlight Festival.
The setting for the display is the All Saints’ Church tower in the village at 6pm on Sunday, December 2.
The event will begin at 12noon and will feature street entertainment, heavy horse rides, Father Christmas, Exmoor Ponies, a Nativity display and carol singers.
Nick Clatworthy, of the organising committee, said: “Dulverton by Starlight has for many years now captured the magic of Christmas against the backdrop of this beautiful Exmoor town.
“The huge array of independent businesses and the strong community that is Dulverton pull together to create a wonderful day of festive entertainment, activities and an opportunity to Christmas shop in a relaxed atmosphere and enjoy one of the many hostelries in the town.
“An exciting new addition this year will be a Nativity Play around the town – performed by The Dulverton Players.”
