Surge in table tennis players in West Huntspill
THE Olympics has sparked a renewed enthusiasm for table tennis, a village group says.
The West Huntspill Table Tennis club has had more than 50 participants over the last two months for its Tuesday evening sessions in Balliol Hall, compared to about 20 the same time last year.
The extra interest means the club can expand to four league teams, with 16 players registering.
The group is seeking more female members and a team for the lower division with a minimal level of skill.
