Warning for Brean and Berrow car owners
CAR owners are being reminded to take extra care to avoid opportunist thieves targeting their vehicles around Brean and Berrow.
PC Ian Bartlett told the Weekly News: “It is indicative that crime does increase during the busy summer months on this beat purely as there is a large increase in the population.
“We always respond accordingly by targeting known hotspots or areas where there have been specific problems.”
People should take valuables from their vehicles or lock them out of sight, clean windscreens for marks left by sat nav mounts and always lock cars.
