SPORTS courses in Taunton could set your young ones on the path to Olympic glory.
Health and sports expert James Quirk, who is also fitness coach to Taunton Paralympic tennis star Lucy Shuker, is running a five-week class for children at Blackbrook Pavilion starting on Monday, September 17, from 4-5pm.
Boys and girls of any ability, aged four to six, will get to try a range of sports they will have seen at the London Olympic Games.
A class introducing three to four-year-olds to basic sport skills, co-ordination, balance and spatial awareness runs at the same venue on Fridays from 2.10-2.55pm.
James said: “The Games may have finished but it could be just the start of an Olympic journey for children in Taunton.
“Everyone’s been talking about the lasting legacy of the Games – so here’s a chance to get youngsters involved in sport from an early age.”
