Chard Spice Villa tops hygiene ratings

AN Indian takeaway in Chard has the top hygiene rating based on a South Somerset District Council inspection.
Shakil Hassan, of Spice Villa, in High Street, was delighted to receive the rating of five in the National Food Hygiene Rating Scheme, meaning conditions are very good.
The inspection considered how hygienically food is handled, the condition of the premises’ structure and how food safety is managed and documented.
