Community choir call in Chard

CHARD’S Meeting Voices Community Choir is on the lookout for people to join the group.
The group is made up of people from the Chard, Crewkerne and Ilminster area.
A spokesman said: “We come together in a welcoming atmosphere to sing exciting harmonies and songs from all around the world, including music from Africa, Georgia, New Zealand, as well as local folk songs and popular tunes.”
New members are welcome.
Meeting Voices rehearses upstairs in the Guildhall in Chard Town Hall in Fore Street on Wednesday evenings during term time from 7.30pm to 9.15pm.
