Former Chard student is awarded doctorate

FORMER Holyrood student Nick Williams has been awarded a doctorate by the International Centre for Music Studies at Newcastle University.
Nick, previously of Nursery Gardens, Chard, attended Manor Court Primary School before going to Holyrood from 1993-97.
He is an associate lecturer in music at Edge Hill University in Lancashire and a freelance sound designer, composer and audio artist.
