Tributes after boy, 17, dies on family holiday
TRIBUTES have been paid to a 17-year-old boy from Pawlett who died suddenly on a family holiday in France.
The funeral of Robin Tucker (pictured), who attended Pawlett Primary School and Bridgwater’s Chilton Trinity Technology College, is at Taunton Deane Crematorium on Friday at 10.30am.
Robin, who had just completed a media production course at Bridgwater College, died on Friday, August 3.
Since Robin’s death, dozens of people have left comments on a special memorial page on Facebook, describing him as an extremely kind young man with a wonderful laugh and smile.
Toni wrote: “Robin, you were an amazing young man who will always be one of those who will remain in my heart and mind at all times.
“You were an inspiration to all those around you. You will be missed by so many people. My love and thoughts to your family.”
Devz Schiffer posted: “You have been a good friend to me over the years and you will be missed.”
West Somerset Coroner Michael Rose has opened and adjourned an inquest into Robin’s death, and a pathologist is preparing a report.
