Better facilities at South Petherton

CHAIRMAN of South Petherton Recreation Ground Committee, Chris Willy, has said that a new play area and multi-use games area will provide improved facilities for local youngsters.
The existing play equipment at the Recreation Ground will be taken away and replaced by eight new pieces of equipment, while the current half-sized MUGA will make way for a full-sized floodlit one.
Mr Willy said: “The money we have received from grants for youth and play facilities will, I am sure, enhance our playing field.”
He has thanked everyone who has supported and helped the project.
“The project will completely change the view of the Recreation Ground when looking from the car park,” he added.
