Two arrests after Lympsham post office robbery

TWO men have been arrested after reports of an armed robbery at Lympsham post office.

The incident happened at about 2.30pm on Friday.

A police spokesman said: “Two men, thought to be armed, entered the store and made off with money.

“Two men, a 28-year-old and a 43-year-old, were arrested on suspicion of robbery and released on bail.”

Police investigations are continuing and anybody with information about the incident should call the non-emergency number, 101.

The owners of the post office declined to comment.
