MEMBERS of Chard Inner Wheel presented charities with cheques last week following a year’s worth of fundraising.
The Alzheimer’s Society, Tatworth and District Parkinson’s Society and Chard First Responders each received £250 at Hornsbury Mill.
Outgoing president Valerie Harris also handed over duties to new president for 2012/3 Anne Taylor.
