Chard in Bloom and Chard 2000 refurbish flower bed

A FLOWERBED in Chard has been given a new lease of life thanks to funding from various local groups.
Thanks to a Chard 2000 and Chard in Bloom project, the Holyrood Street flowerbed was refurbished.
Funding for the work came from Chard 2000 and Chard in Bloom, boosted by further grant support from South Somerset District Council and Chard Town Council who each gave £150.
The group's committee would like to thank both councils for their support. The sustainable bed will mature over time to enhance the area of the town.
