POLICE are appealing for information after a shoplifter stole 58 bottles of tanning lotion from the Boots store in Crewkerne.

The incident happened on June 22 and the man police wold like to question was wearing a distinctive long jacket and hat.

The stolen tanning lotion was valued at £1,400.

The police have released these CCTV pictures of the man they would like to question.

Seriously, how could you not notice someone walking out a shop with that many bottles about their person? Big coat or not just being able to walk with all that extra weight would have been suspicious.

In response to Orchardman....would just like to say that the Police released the appeal for information and CCTV images at 12.29pm yesterday (Thursday, June 28). This was then put onto the Chard and Illy website at 12.34pm.
