TWO energetic farmers will cycle from London to Paris this summer to raise cash for charity... but there’s another incentive for one half of the duo.

Malcolm Cavill, 58, was advised to pull out of the same challenge two years ago after his doctor told him to lose weight.

But now, the Fivehead farmer is ready to take on July’s capital to capital test with good friend Rob Walrond.

“Rob did the challenge in 2010, and at the time I didn’t feel I was fit enough to take part,” said Malcolm.

“'I've been doing quite a few cycles a week, occasionally with Rob. The past two summers I have been travelling around to check on my cattle daily on my bike.”

The pair are raising money for Christian Aid. Visit the related link on this article to sponsor them.
