Ilminster head teacher warns of 'stranger danger'

THE head teacher of Greenfylde First School in Ilminster has reminded parents about "stranger danger".

John Jeffery said in the school newsletter that a pupil had been "concerned" about a man's behaviour at Ilminster Recreation Ground.

"The child was very sensible and immediately contacted home and with a friend, left the area," he said.

"I would like parents to remind their children to be careful when out playing in the evenings. While we do not wish to be alarmist or to overstate the risks we want children to be vigilant and safe."
