AN East Bridgwater Community School student mingled with the stars at a lavish bash held at Lancaster House in London.

Natasha Cross was chosen to represent the school at the Diana Award event organised to celebrate the work young people do within their community.

She student was chosen after writing a 200-word case study on her peer mediators at the school.

The star-struck student arrived in style with her aunty Sophie in a Bentley Chrysler and tucked into canapés and drinks before enjoying a variety of entertaining performances.

Natasha met fashion designer Zandra Rhodes, singer Bishi, and chatted to Esther Rantzen.

She said: “I got a chance to speak to other award holders about what we do at our school with peer mediation and mentoring and got to listen to their stories on why they received the Diana Award.

“There were a lot of inspirational people there and I was honoured to meet them. Overall I had an excellent night at Lancaster House.”
