CROWDS flocked to Sanders Garden World in Brent Knoll to have a go on an unusual method of transport - and raise £175 for Children's Hospice South-West.
A number of visitors were able to ride a circular bicycle, which is currently being cycled from Bristol to Cornwall in aid of the children's charity.
The seven fundraisers were stopping off at the garden centre as part of their journey from Charlton Farm in Wraxall to Little Harbour Children's Hospice in St Austell on Saturday.
They are hoping to raise £10,000 from the ride and have so far collected £1,823.
Garden centre general manager Peter Burkes said: “We are delighted lots of people came to the garden centre to have a go on the specialist bike.“We also had an exercise bike on-site and member of staff cycled the entire distance of the ride for a donation to the charity.”
