Visitors from the French town of Morlaix have spent time in their twin city of Truro.
They were met by the mayor of Truro Rob Nolan, accompanied by the mayoress.
Also there was Monsieur Pierre Cuignet, international development manager at the Port of Falmouth and the representative for the Union of French Citizens living in Cornwall.
Michel Cocheril, president of the Morlaix Twinning Association, spoke on the tenth anniversary of 9/11, the date of the attack on the World Trade Center in New York.
He highlighted the importance of the friendship between France and England, and the mutual understanding and co-operation.
During their visit the French visitors enjoyed a tour of Truro Cathedral and saw the new cathedral bells.
They also visited the Camel Valley vineyard and Trerice Manor.
