A man has been found lying dead in a shallow river in Truro.
Police have today appealed for information about the death, which is being treated as “unexplained.”
Officers were called to Edward Street at around 8pm on Friday.
A police spokesman said: “The man had previously been seen in the vicinity apparently intoxicated and in possession of a bicycle.
“Police are treating the death as unexplained but not suspicious.”
Officers want to speak to anyone who saw the man during Friday evening or has information about his death. Call police on 08452 777444 ref GT/11/1622.
