Cider festival in Yeovil
A YEOVIL pub is to hold a cider festival - starting next week.
The William Dampier in Middle Street will be serving 12 different ciders during the festival which will run for 11 days from Thursday, July 21, until Sunday, July 31.
The draught and bottled ciders have been sourced from a range of cider makers in England and Wales, and also include one produced in France.
The ciders include Festival Special Perry (Mr Whiteheads Cider), Thatchers Traditional (Thatchers), Cider Twist Raspberry (Westons), Black Dragon (Gwynt y Ddraig) and Farmhouse Draught (Sheppy’s). The French cider is Mont St Michel from Normandy.
All of the ciders will be available at £2.35 each.
Pub manager Chris Partridge said: “Cider is proving increasingly popular with our customers and I’m sure they will enjoy the opportunity to enjoy ciders not usually available in the pub.”
Tasting notes on all of the ciders will be available in the pub.
