families enjoyed a day of adventures in Simonsbath this half-term.

Exmoor National Park Authority held a number of activities and games all about the environment as part of the Simonsbath Big Adventure on Tuesday.

The families got hands on experience of ancient drystone walling and discovered the diverse wildlife in the area during a stream dipping session.

National Park Ranger Adam Vasey said: “Simonsbath is an attractive village set in the heart of the national park with a choice of places to buy refreshments or to bring a picnic and sit by the beautiful River Barle.”

Tours of the National Park's historic water-powered sawmill in Simonsbath were also given.
