Lunch party raises cash for three charities
A GROUP of ladies enjoyed a lunch party in Moorlinch and raised £2,835 for three worthwhile causes.
Audrey Warner put on the spread, and Rosie Fry, Freda Norton and Joyce Holman, all aged over 80, supplied the raffle prizes.
Pam Cox, Mary Roberts, Gill Branaff and Margaret Gould prepared and made homemade soup. All proceeds will be split between St Margaret's Somerset Hospice, Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance and Macmillan.
It is the fourth year running Audrey has raised money at a World's Largest Coffee Morning event at her home.
