CLASS act James Holgate and Emily Sparks, who work at Selworthy School in Taunton, are the winners of the County Gazette’s Win Your Wedding competition 2011, held in association with Weddings at Taunton School and Buff Urban Day Spa.
The couple, who live in Wellington, received generous applause from the other finalists when they were named winners at the Taunton School wedding fair this afternoon.
They have won a prize worth £22,500. Competition sponsors will be providing them with everything they need for a dream day, from wedding rings and the cake to disco and flowers.
They will tie the knot at the school on July 22 and between now and then, the County Gazette will feature them meeting the sponsors as they prepare for their special day.
After the announcement, trembling James and Emily said: “We’re overwhelmed – it’s surreal.”
