Delays on the A38 after car hits horse
THE A38 between Taunton and North Petherton is blocked after a car collided with a horse.
The incident happened near the junction with the A361 towards Durston at around 8.47am.
South West Ambulance sent a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance to the scene but the woman, in her 40s, driving the car was not injured just shaken.
The horse was left lying in the middle of the road after suffering serious injuries.
