A TEAM of fitness fanatics from a Mark-based company successfully pulled a 14-tonne truck half a mile for charity.
The gym buddies, who work for Somerlap in Wells Road, raised £500 on the day for motor neurone disease, breast cancer and the Firefighters Benevolent Fund.
Barry Moody, event organiser, said the money was raised thanks to sponsorship from local pubs, shops and generous individuals.
He thanked Kevin Bond and Tracy Spurrell from Somerlap, A1 Construction, St John Ambulance, and Wells firefighters.
