Students at Truro School can now study in a newly refurbished library after former headmaster Guy Dodd unveiled the facility.
City mayor Ron Cooke and school governors were among the guests for the opening of the new library, which features more technology based resources.
Headmaster Paul Smith said: βI am delighted that the governors of Truro School have shown the foresight and wise judgement to invest in this splendid new library.
βIn this technological age it is important that we utilise all modern learning resources but do not lose our love of books. The heart of the school development, which included a new dining hall, has now been completed with the excellent Dodd Library.β
