CASUALTY actor Simon MacCorkindale, who lived on Exmoor, has died.
Mr MacCorkindale, who revealed last year he had been suffering from cancer since 2006, died last night in the arms of his wife, actress Susan George, in a clinic in London.
Mr MacCorkindale had starred as Dr Harry Harper in the popular BBC One show for six years.
He made his break in the 1978 Agatha Christie film, Death on the Nile, and made many other television and film appearances.
Mr MacCorkindale and his wife ran Georgian Arabians, an Arabian stud farm, on Exmoor.
