A COW shed at Binham Grange, Minehead, has been converted into a contemporary art gallery.

The gallery is presenting a collection of work by artists from around the South West and was converted from a barn full of cows to an exhibition space in less than ten days.

The exhibition is an initiative by the Gallery4Art group and is entirely funded and organised by the artists, to present a wide variety of contemporary art against the historic backdrop of Binham Grange.

The free exhibition will run until Monday, alongside a series of art workshops.

A clay workshop for children is also running everyday.

The works are part of an extensive summer exhibition at Binham Grange, Old Cleeve, which includes three galleries and a sculpture trail through the grounds of the house.

The exhibition is open daily from 10am to 5.30pm at Binham Grange, Old Cleeve, Minehead.
