SOMERSET are through to the T20 final following a rain-affected semi-final against Nottinghamshire.
The Cidermen won by three runs under the Duckworth Lewis system, used to decide matches which cannot be completed because of bad weather. Somerset were put into bat and made 182-5, thanks largely to 19-year-old Jos Buttler, who smashed an unbeaten 55 off just 23 balls, including six fours and two sixes.
Buttler led the recovery after Notts' England stars, Graeme Swann and Stuart Broad, had reduced Somerset to 107-5, after they had been 50 without loss at one stage.
Somerset skipper Marcus Trescothick top-scored, with 60 off just 28 balls, including nine fours and two sixes.
Notts were keeping up with the demanding run-rate but had lost four wickets when rain stopped play with the score on 117-4 after 13 overs, and Somerset squeezed through by the narrowest of margins.
Somerset will play the hosts Hampshire in the final, which is due to begin at about 7.15pm.
