POLICE are appealing for information after a distinctive Giant-branded mountain bike was stolen from Bruton.

The bike – which has been described as being metallic blue to the rear with white at the front – was stolen from Wyvern Close, Bruton, something between Monday, July 26, and Tuesday, July 27.

A police spokesman said: “The bicycle is unique in having an orange coloured rear back tyre.

“Anybody with information which can help locate the missing bike or who may have witnessed or heard about the incident are asked to contact police.”
