THE Queen of historical fiction, Philippa Gregory, will be welcomed to Yeovil by Waterstone’s bookstore to talk about her new book.
The store will be celebrating the release of The Red Queen, the follow up to the number one bestseller The White Queen, with Philippa at the beautiful Brympton House in Brympton D’Evercy on the outskirts of Yeovil on Tuesday, August 24, from 7.30pm.
Tickets are priced £5 and are selling fast. They are available from Waterstone’s on 01935-479832. Philippa will also be signing copies of her book after the talk.
Marcus Bishop, of Waterstone’s said: “This is a real coup for the shop, Philippa is one of our top selling authors and well-respected.
“This really does look like it will be a special evening to remember.”
The Red Queen tells the story of Lady Margaret Beaufort - cold, clever and calculating she will stop at nothing to put her son Henry Tudor on the throne.
