THE people of Minehead and surrounding areas are being invited by Taunton's Musgrove Park Hospital to meet their hospital governors.
The constituency meeting will taker place next Tuesday from 6pm till 7pm at Minehead and District Social Club in North Road.
Visitors will have the chance to meet their hospital governors, ask them questions, find out about the coming governor elections and join them for some light refreshments.
Places must be booked by contacting Jo Wakefield on 01823-342460 or e-mailing jo.wakefield@tst.nhs.uk This will be followed at 7pm by one of the hospital's successful Medicine for Members meetings, giving people the opportunity to hear healthcare experts give advice on the latest research and evidence on key issues of health interest.
Dr Alf Collins, consultant in pain management, will present on the subject 'Managing Pain'.
The audience will be invited to reflect on their own experiences of pain and the strategies they have used to manage it.
